Getting Started

Do I need to be home for the cleaning appointment?

Although it is preferred, you are not required to be home for your cleaning. You can let us in an then leave to run errands, or you can leave a key for us and we'll lock up after ourselves. Be sure to leave directions in your booking notes on how we can enter the home and lock up.

Do you bring your own supplies and equipment?

We bring our own cleaning supplies but please let us know if you have any special requests and we would be happy to accommodate you if possible. Alternatively, we can use green products if you would prefer. Please let us know if you would prefer green cleaning services so we can plan for this.

What is your 100% Satisfaction Guarantee?

If something is not done satisfactory- we'll fix it. Please let us know immediately following your cleaning if something is not right and we’ll send a team out to make it right (within 72 hours) and do a FREE re-clean.

Is Maids 2 Mop DMV Licensed and Insured?

Maids 2 Mop DMV is licensed, registered, and insured for residential and commercial cleaning services. 

Are Your Cleaners Background Checked?

All of our staff go through a rigorous hiring and training process. All of our cleaners are background checked, vetted, and go through a series of test cleans before they enter your home.

What is a deep cleaning?

A deep cleaning should be booked for homes not professionally cleaned within 30 days. Deep cleaning provides a more thorough clean for homes not generally maintained or that have an excess of build up and dirt. The checklist includes everything necessary to bring your home up to a standard of cleanliness which can then be maintained easily. Baseboards, door frames, light switches, a deep scrub of the kitchen and bathrooms, and more are included. See our deep cleaning checklist here Cleaning Checklist. For homes that are above the level of a standard clean upon arrival to your home, a  deep cleaning fee will be applied to your booking. For homes above a deep cleaning, our heavy duty deep cleaning fee will also be added to your booking.

What type of Cleanings do you offer?

We offer standard cleanings, deep cleanings, move in/move out cleanings, and heavy duty deep cleanings.

-Move In/Move Out Clean must be selected for homes that are empty.

- Deep Clean must be selected for homes not professionally cleaned in the last 30 days, and for first-time bookings prepare your home for ongoing maintenance.

-Heavy Duty Deep Clean must be selected in addition to the Deep Clean option for homes beyond the scope of a deep clean.

-Post Construction Cleaning- Please select this cleaning if there is heavy dirt and dust build-up from home renovations. Paint removal is outside of our scope of work.

*If your home has excessive dirt and  the scope of work required to clean your home is beyond the level of service you booked, our heavy duty deep clean fee may apply. Cleaning the exterior of the home ( balconies, decks, garages, and porches) is outside the scope of  our work.

Pricing & Policies

When does my card get charged?

We do not charge your card until after your cleaning is complete. Your credit card is needed to to hold your spot on our schedule. Please be advised a hold will be placed on your card 24 hours before service.

How much will my cleaning cost?

We price based on the number of bedrooms and bathrooms in the home and the square footage of the home. The price of your cleaning is shown instantly on our booking form.

Will I ever be charged more for my cleaning?

If we arrive at your home and the scope of work required to clean your home is beyond the level of service you booked, our heavy duty deep clean fee will be added to your booking and/or you will be charged at our hourly rate for your cleaning. 

What is your refund policy?

Maids 2 Mop does not provide refunds. If something is not done satisfactory, please let us know immediately following your cleaning and we’ll send a team out to make it right (within 72 hours) and do a FREE re-clean.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cleanings must be cancelled at least 48  hours before the scheduled service. Maids 2 Mop DMV reserves the right to assess a 25% cancellation fee if a booking is cancelled after 48 hours before your service. When you book a cleaning we hold a time on our schedule for you and are unable to fill the vacant timeslot.  Please be sure to provide entry instructions if you will not be home.  We reserve the right to charge our standard cancellation fee for all no- shows and lock-outs. 

Do I leave a tip?

Tips are always optional but greatly appreciate by your cleaning team.

How do I create a Maids 2 Mop DMV account

How do I add a credit or debit card?

Log into your account and update your credit card in your upcoming booking. You can also give us a call and we will update your card for you.

I forgot my password, how do I reset it?

You can submit a password change request on the customer login page at https://maids2mopdmv.launch27.com/login/

Trust & Safety

Can I trust my cleaning professional?

Of course! All of our cleaners must pass a full criminal background check before joining the Maids 2 Mop team. All of our maids must perform a series of “test” cleans before they even enter your home. We work hard make sure that only the best cleaners show up to your home.

What if I have pets?

Please select the pet add on when booking so we can assure your cleaning team does not have any allergies to pet hair or dander. Our pet fee is applied to all homes with pets. 

Is my online payment secure?

Your personal information is safe with us. We don't store any of your personal or financial information you provide to pay for your service.
